PCI Plant Certification
Continuous plant audit.
PCI evaluates fabrication processes, quality control, personnel training and MNL-130 compliance on a continuous basis. It is a certification of the plant, not of a specific project. This is the process MODECO is currently undergoing.
PCI Design Award
One-off project recognition.
Design recognition for a specific building. Does not imply continuous audit of the plant that fabricated it. Important not to conflate the two when evaluating precast suppliers.
